CHELSEA'S 2018-19 home kit has been leaked online... with red and white stripes a surprise addition.

According to Footy Headlines, the new jersey for next season sees a real twist on the predominantly blue shirt.

Chelsea's 2018-19 home shirt is set to feature red and white stripes

Tapered dashes of red and white are set to feature on the strip in a real change to the norm.

The lines run across the width of the shirt, as the streaks of red and white run horizontally from the edges towards the centre, including into the heart of the club crest.

The Nike jersey will be based on the next generation of the "Vapor template".

It is said to be light then ever, including brand-new knit pattern on the front, back and the sleeves.

The shorts are expected to be blues, while the socks on the 2018-19 strip will be white, with a blue trim.

Chelsea are expected to launch their new kit in May 2018, meaning it could be released before the end of the current season, as many teams tend to do these days.

Bisi Alimi calls out Akpororo and Bovi over their homophobic jokes (Video)

Nigerian Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has called out Comedians Akpororo and Bovi over their homophobic jokes which are regarded to be very offensive to the LGBT community.
Taking to Instagram to react, Bisi shared the video below and wrote:

'So the so-called @officialbovi (I actually can’t find anything official about him) and sad face Akpororo have a video making round of their ‘comedy’. I had to put comedy in quote because to be honest the video I saw of them is of a tragedy. It is so bad and sad the audience forgot to laugh and if these people have comedy on their cv I think it’s time they look for another job. These two sad souls uses death and hyper sexualisation to drive home their bigotry and hatred of LGBT people. If you think being a bully is cool and funny, I wish you get bully. And Akpororo, wishing anal cancer on people is the lowest you can go. I hope you remember that at the centre of your jokes are human beings like you, it is so sad you hate yourself so much to hate other people. And Bovi, sexualising your kids and forcing them to say pussy and dick is not funny, it is actually an act of abuse. It is lame, stupid and sad. I am happy to help you guys write better comedy next time

Accident survivor shares amazing testimony after recovering from a trailer accident which left all passengers, including his mum, dead

A young man who miraculously survived a fatal accident that killed scores has told of how he recovered two months after the accident and was able to walk though doctors feared he never would.
Fegor Williams was on Lokoja road, journeying to Abuja with his mother, when a tanker carrying fuel fell while trying to overtake and caught fire. The bus he was travelling in with his mother also caught fire and he lost consciousness for a while. When he came to, he saw his mother and other passengers burning alive but he found himself away from the burning bus though he can't explain how that happened.
He is now fully recovered only months after the accident, and though he has now been rendered an orphan by that accident, he's  grateful to still be alive.

'Nigerian doctors are killing people' actor Yomi Gold weeps as he mourns his friend who died during an operation in a Nigerian hospital

A distraught Yomi Gold Alore shared a video of himself weeping over the loss of one of his bosom friends named Tope pictured left. According to Yomi's post, Tope had an operation here in Nigeria and died in the process. Yomi is blaming the rot in the Healthcare system in Nigeria for the death of his friend. He appealed to everyone to go abroad for an operation if they have the means to do so. Yomi in his post wrote
'Am sorry this might get to some professional doctors... but who knows who that is real professional when it comes to visiting those hospitals in Nigeria.. my friend is gone bcus he decided to have his operation done in Nigeria. Too young to depart from us???? Tope this is sad. I pray God should give his families a great strength to hold this down. I love u ore mi atata'.

Vogue Magazine has released official photos from Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's lavish wedding in New Orleans. The wedding had a French ball–themed, Beauty and the Beast–style decor, complete with a gold arch of flowers at the end of the aisle, long tables covered in lamé fabric, and more to entertain their celebrity friends and of course, family. Their daughter was taken down the aisle by her maternal grandmother. More photos below.

As LIB exclusively reported in September, the traditional wedding ceremony between RnB singer/actor/director, BankyW and his fiancée, actress Adesua Etomi will take place tomorrow, November 19th. Pictured above is the first look at the enveloped copies of the access cards needed to gain entrance into the venue.
Adesua and her bridesmaids were also spotted at a beauty salon/spa in Lagos Friday night getting prepared for her big day tomroow.

'You should never have to choose between two good things, when both, together, make a perfect combination' - BankyW shares wise words to the Okoye brothers

Using a food analogy in a special birthday message to Peter and Paul Okoye this evening, BankyW indirectly weighed into their split and shared very wise advice. Read below.

Which do you prefer?
I just got back to Nigeria yesterday, after the better part of 4 months away. Naturally, one of the things I missed the most while being away was the food. So I tried going to one of my favourite African restaurants to order some. Everything seemed normal until I tried to place an order. I asked for beans and plantain... the waiter said I could have one or the other, but not the two at the same time. I was confused. I decided to go for Jollof rice and chicken. Same story. Pounded yam and Egusi??? No, sorry, it's either pounded yam OR Egusi.. not both together. I was actually at a loss for words. This didn't make sense to me, at all. The waiter then tried to explain.. using words like "change", "growth" and "trying a new direction". But I didn't and still don't understand. Why change what was already perfect? He explained that any option I chose would still taste good. So, because hunger was killing me, I tried it. In the past few days I'd try plantain one day, and then beans another. Etc. And they did taste good. But they were perfect together. Absolutely perfect. The best of the best of African cuisine.
It's unfortunate that sometimes, with growth, change and whatever-other-word U wanna use... we end up losing sight of where and how we started, and altering what was a perfectly working combination. It makes me sad. But such is life I guess. For now, I will have to make do with either beans OR plantain, and either Jollof OR chicken, at different times. It isn't quite the same though, so here's hoping one day someone will realize that U should never have to choose between two good things, when both, together, make a perfect combination.
I miss beans & dodo at my favourite restaurant. Sigh.
